Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and results-driven Marketing Coordinator to lead our marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, content creation, and e-commerce management. They will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our lighting and general merchandise products.
  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media advertising.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer needs.
  • Analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies for maximum ROI.

Content Creation & Brand Development

  • Create high-quality content for websites, social media, email newsletters, and product catalogs.
  • Develop engaging blog posts, product descriptions, and marketing materials.
  • Work closely with graphic designers and content creator to produce promotional materials.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and ensure alignment with company goals.

E-commerce & Online Sales Growth

  • Manage and optimize the company’s e-commerce platforms (website, online marketplaces, and social commerce).
  • Enhance the online shopping experience through UX improvements, product listings, and promotions.
  • Implement SEO strategies to improve website rankings and organic traffic.
  • Track and analyze e-commerce sales data to identify trends and opportunities.

Social Media & Customer Engagement

  • Develop and execute social media marketing campaigns to drive engagement and sales.
  • Manage community interactions, responding to inquiries and fostering brand loyalty.
  • Partner with influencers and industry professionals to enhance brand visibility.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work with the sales team to align marketing strategies with sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and partners to create joint marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports on marketing performance, customer insights, and competitor analysis.

Co-ordinating marketing events and PR

  • Co-ordinate and participate in various Expos
  • Represent the company and conduct PR with key industry leaders and firms

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the lighting or general merchandise industry.
  • Proven experience in e-commerce marketing and familiarity with platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or Jumia.
  • Strong content creation skills, including copywriting, graphic design, and video editing is a bonus.
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO tools, and email marketing software).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
  • A team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B and B2C marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and marketing automation tools.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and affiliate marketing strategies.
  • Photography and video production skills are a plus.
