Job Description
We’re seeking a highly creative and trend-savvy Graphic Designer to develop the complete visual identity for our upcoming concert featuring some of Kenya’s top Gen Z artists. This is a crucial role in establishing the concert’s unique aesthetic and ensuring a cohesive brand experience across all platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Concert Poster Design:
- Develop striking and engaging concert posters that capture the energy and vibe of the Gen Z artist lineup.
- Create multiple poster variations for different promotional channels (social media, print, digital).
- Branding & Visual Identity:
- Establish a strong and consistent visual brand for the concert, including logo variations, color palettes, typography, and visual elements.
- Ensure the concert branding resonates with the target Gen Z audience.
- Artist Branding Integration:
- Seamlessly integrate the individual branding of each featured artist into the overall concert design.
- Maintain consistency while allowing for each artist’s unique style to shine.
- Partner Branding Integration:
- Incorporate partner logos and branding elements into promotional materials in a visually appealing and professional manner.
- Create digital and print assets for our sponsors.
- Social Media Assets:
- Design eye-catching social media graphics, including event announcements, artist spotlights, countdown posts, and promotional videos.
- Create templates for consistent and efficient social media content creation.
- Print and Digital Assets:
- Produce high-quality print materials (flyers, banners, merchandise designs) and digital assets (website graphics, email banners).
- Maintain Brand Consistency:
- Ensure all design materials adhere to the established brand guidelines.
- Provide clear and organized design files for future use.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative work.
- Deep understanding of Gen Z culture, trends, and visual preferences.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong typography and layout skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Knowledge of current social media design trends.
- Experience with branding, and creating brand guidelines.
- Portfolio showing work with musical artists, or events is a plus.
