- Maintain organized file structures and follow project naming conventions.
- Collaborate remotely with the Creative Strategist and Director for feedback and revisions.
- Meet deadlines reliably while maintaining quality and creativity.
- Stay updated on editing trends and social media video formats (Reels, TikTok, YouTube).
Key Deliverables
- 3–6 edited videos per week depending on project load.
- Completed videos formatted for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Podcast video edits (1–2 per week) with clean sound and visual consistency.
- Timely delivery within 48–72 hours of receiving footage.
Requirements
- 2–4 years experience in video editing (agency, studio, or freelance).
- Advanced in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut Desktop.
- Understanding of color grading, sound mixing, and storytelling flow.
- Strong sense of visual rhythm, pacing, and transitions.
- Excellent communication and ability to take feedback constructively.
- Highly organized and reliable with consistent turnaround time.
Compensation
- Competitive per-project or monthly retainer (based on output).
- Reel edits (30-60 seconds): Ksh 1,500-3,000
- Podcasts, long form content: Ksh 3,500-5,000
Ideal Candidate
- Obsessed with clean, high-quality edits.
