Video Editor – Young Rich (D & R Studios) At Young Rich, I worked as a Video Editor where I handled a wide range of post-production responsibilities for television shows, documentaries, and digital content. My role involved organizing raw footage, assembling rough and final cuts, and ensuring that every project met the creative direction, style, and tone intended by the producers and directors. I edited major productions such as Real Housewives of Nairobi, Our Perfect Wedding, Our Fifth Anniversary (Showmax), and digital series like Girl Unfiltered (CTRL Z Tribe)—managing timelines, pacing, and story flow to deliver polished, broadcast-ready content. I collaborated closely with directors, producers, scriptwriters, and fellow editors to maintain consistency and meet tight deadlines. My technical duties included color correction, audio enhancement, multi-camera syncing, and exporting final deliverables in required formats. I worked extensively with Final Cut Pro X, DaVinci Resolve, iZotope, and PluralEyes, ensuring high production quality across all projects. My time at Young Rich strengthened my storytelling skills, technical expertise, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
