SUMMARY
Ember Hollows had a plan; move to New Zealand, open up a teashop and live a normal life with no drama. Unfortunately, not even six months after opening her shop trouble comes knocking on her door in the forms of DI Kit Cooper and DS Roy Steele. The two earth mages work for the magical division of Napiers police force and are investigating a local murder. The culprit? A fire mage. She joins forces with the two men to clear her name and find out who is killing people in her new home.
