I have a background in mechanical engineering, which has provided me with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. My passion for storytelling led me to transition into the film and videography industry, where I have 4 years of experience, including freelancing in video production. This diverse experience has helped me develop skills in directing, editing, and cinematography. In the masterclass conducted by Reuben Odanga, I learned various directing techniques, emphasizing collaboration and effective communication with actors and crew. The training focused on character development and visual storytelling, along with hands-on exercises to practice directing scenes. I also learned the importance of receiving constructive feedback to refine my skills and gained insights into the film industry, including how to navigate my career and build a unique creative vision as a director.
