As a graphic designer, I craft visual stories that blend creativity with purpose. My work involves creating compelling designs for digital and print media, including posters, branding materials, social media content, and custom artwork. Education
I graduated with a Certificate in Graphics from the International Youth Fellowship (IYF) Free Weekend Academy, a comprehensive three-month training program designed to equip youth with practical skills and industry knowledge. The Graphics course at IYF Weekend Academy provided hands-on experience in graphic design, covering essential tools and techniques to create compelling visual content. In addition to technical training, the academy incorporated mind education and personal development sessions, fostering a holistic approach to learning. The certificate awarded upon completion is recognized for its role in enhancing employability and promoting self-employment among youth.
Class of 2023 I earned a certificate in Photography and Videography from Sauti Media Training between May 1 , 2023 and October 14, 2023. This comprehensive program equipped me with essential skills in visual storytelling, camera operations, lighting techniques, and post-production editing. Through hands-on training and mentorship, I gained proficiency in capturing and producing high-quality photographs and videos, preparing me for professional opportunities in the media industry.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art and Design from Kenyatta University, graduating with Second Class Honors (Lower Division). This program, offered by the Department of Fine Art and Design—the oldest and only department in Kenya providing degree courses in both fine art and design—SOCIAL SCIENCE equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of artistic principles and design methodologies. The curriculum emphasized the development of creative and technical skills, preparing graduates to address contemporary challenges in the art and design sectors. The grading system at Kenyatta University classifies Second Class Honors (Lower Division) as a cumulative average score between 50% and 59%
I had the privilege of being part of the Youth in Animation and Post Production Initiative, where I explored the dynamic world of animation and video post-production. Through hands-on training, I developed skills in storytelling, animation techniques, and video editing using Blender, an industry-leading tool for 3D modeling, animation, and rendering. Working alongside talented peers and industry professionals, I gained a deeper understanding of the media production process, from concept to execution. I am excited to continue applying these skills, particularly with Blender, in future creative projects.
Work & Experience
Volunteer Experience: As a volunteer with the Rotaract District 9212 Strategic Communications Committee (2025/26), I contribute to strengthening the district’s visibility and impact through creative communication strategies. My role involves designing compelling visual content, supporting campaign messaging, and enhancing branding across various platforms to ensure clear, engaging, and values-driven storytelling. This experience allows me to collaborate with passionate Rotaractors across the region, applying my graphic design skills to promote service initiatives, events, and causes that drive meaningful community change.
