SUMMARY
Bram Stoker (Dublin 1847 – London 1912) is best known for his inmortal Gothic novel Dracula, perhaps the most famous horror novel of all time. He found little success as a writer during his lifetime, being better known as the personal assistant of actor and theatre owner Sir Henry Irving. He worked as a theatre critic for an Irish newspaper in his early years, and also published some short stories, like the one included in this book. Gibbet Hill was published in a Christmas supplement of the Dublin Daily Express in 1890, and lost for more than a century until it was discovered by Brian Cleary in 2024.
