Man, finishing a manuscript feels like crossing a marathon finish line. All the sleepless nights typing and deleting bad lines and not sure about each chapter. It’s done. High five to you. What is the kicker though is that the file on your desktop is not a book yet. Not even close. Getting it out of the head, onto real pages or screens to read is a crazy ride. If your brain’s buzzing with one big question right now, it’s probably this: what is book publishing, anyway?
