About This Role
Produce compelling written and multimedia content that highlights Mwanga’s impact and values
What You’ll Do
- Develop narrative driven content across multiple formats—blog posts, case studies, newsletters, scripts, podcasts and short videos—that illustrate Mwanga’s mission, impact and customer experiences.
- Conduct interviews with customers, partners and team members, capturing authentic stories of how connectivity is transforming lives and communities.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, design and product teams to brainstorm ideas, align content with campaign goals and produce compelling visuals and copy.
- Ensure consistency of brand voice, tone and style, maintaining editorial guidelines and adapting messages to different channels (website, social media, print).
- Optimise content for search and engagement, incorporating SEO best practices, keywords and metadata to improve discoverability and user retention.
- Analyse content performance using analytics tools, track key metrics (views, shares, dwell time), and adjust content strategy accordingly.
What We’re Looking For
- Exceptional storytelling and copywriting skills, with the ability to distil complex technical topics into engaging, human centred narratives.
- Experience with photography, videography and audio production, and familiarity with editing tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro or Audacity.
- Knowledge of SEO principles, keyword research and content management systems (WordPress or similar) for publishing and optimisation.
- Strong research skills to source information and quotes, and ability to fact check content for accuracy.
- Collaborative mindset and excellent time management skills to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Degree in Journalism, Media Studies, or related field.
- Portfolio demonstrating writing or multimedia samples
