Job Description

FOMOW is a new nightlife app launching in Nairobi this December.

We help people answer the ultimate question: “What’s happening tonight?”

Through curated club guides, events, drink deals, bookings and ticketing – FOMOW connects the city’s nightlife into one smooth, mobile-first experience.

It’s built for people who love going out, and for the clubs, promoters and DJs who make it all happen.

This is nightlife, reimagined for the digital era – and Nairobi is just the beginning.

We’re now hiring a content-obsessed creator and strategist to help us build hype, shape our voice, and make FOMOW visible, viral and valuable.

🎯 Your mission – from launch and beyond

  • Make FOMOW visible, viral, and valuable
  • Plan, shoot and publish in our socials
  • Define and develop FOMOW’s voice – how we sound, look, and show up in the world
  • Strategically plan and launch all sorts of campaigns that build anticipation and community – before and after launch
  • Share the nightlife vibe with Nairobi and beyond

✅ What we’re looking for

  • You’ve built a strong personal brand or worked with brands that have successfully grown their digital presence through social media
  • You’ve produced content that got real results – not just “looked good,” but reached, engaged, converted, or stuck
  • You have a natural likeability and presence that shines through the screen – people trust you, enjoy your energy, and want to follow what you create
  • You understand nightlife culture – the music, the energy, the people – and how to translate that into content that feels alive
  • You plan your content, track performance, and continuously improve based on what actually resonates
  • Bonus: You have valuable connections with creators, owners, or key players in the nightlife or events space
  • Bonus: You’re comfortable stepping into a future leadership role as we build out a full content team

Of course, TikTok and Instagram. But we’re not married to any single plan. You’ll help define the content and channel strategy – based on what works, what feels right, and what moves people.
