Role Description
This is a contract role for a Corporate Event Planner. The role is hybrid, based in Nairobi County, Kenya, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Corporate Event Planner will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing corporate events. This includes managing event logistics, coordinating with vendors, budgeting, and ensuring successful event delivery. Additionally, the planner will be required to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, ensuring all needs and expectations are met.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
- Proven experience in Event Planning and Event Management
- Expertise in Budgeting for events and ensuring cost-efficiency
- Experience in Sales and the ability to secure sponsors and partnerships
- Excellent organization and multitasking capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
