Bobu lifestyle is Hiring: Creative Designer (Handcrafted Products) Afrika Collection is expanding its creative team, and we’re looking for a highly skilled, hands-on Creative Designer with the ability to turn concepts into meaningful, functional, and beautifully crafted products inspired by African heritage. If you can sketch, prototype, mold, carve, and bring ideas to life through craftsmanship, this role is for you. About the Role The ideal candidate is a designer who thinks beyond the sketchbook. Someone who can create culturally grounded, handcrafted pieces that reflect the richness of African culture. You will collaborate across our brands to design products that are thoughtful, purposeful, and rooted in identity. Key Responsibilities A. Concept development, sketching & prototyping B. Crafting handmade products using diverse materials C. Translating ideas into functional, aesthetically refined designs D. Developing pieces inspired by African culture & lifestyle E. Supporting product development across the Afrika Collection brands Who We’re Looking For A. Strong sketching and conceptual design skills B. Excellent craftsmanship and hands-on creativity C. Ability to work with wood, clay, fabrics, beads, or other natural materials D. A passion for African artistry and cultural expression E.
