Position Overview: 

We are currently seeking a dynamic Technical Writer to join us as an intern and take on a crucial role in communicating the technical aspects of our DAC technology, projects, and goals. As a member of the commercialization team at Octavia Carbon, you will work closely with our technical teams to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging, and compelling written content. Your contributions will support effective due diligence processes and applications, including grants and accelerator applications. For your application to be considered, your resume should accompany the writing assignment below. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Collaborate with the technical and commercialization team to comprehend complex DAC technology, research, and developments.

  3. Ensure that technical information is communicated in an accessible manner to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  4. Write compelling narratives highlighting Octavia Carbon’s innovation and differentiation in the carbon removal sector. 
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and insights for various writing assignments. 

Qualifications: 

  1. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (not compulsory but would be a plus). 
  2. Proven experience in technical writing. 
  3. Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical information for various audiences. 
  4. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to maintain accuracy and precision in writing. 
  5. Proficiency in using various tools and platforms for collaboration and document creation. 
  6. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. 
  7. Adaptability and willingness to take on evolving responsibilities as the role progresses

Duration: This is a 3-month internship opportunity that may lead to a full-time position with a revised salary offer based on your performance.
