The Curator-in-Residence (CIR) program at Baraza Media Lab is designed to cultivate symbiotic relationships between curators, creatives, and media practitioners. Grounded in our mission to amplify African narratives and public interest media, the program fosters experimentation, collaboration, and community engagement through curated initiatives. It refl ects Baraza’s commitment to nurturing a vibrant, inclusive, and dynamic storytelling ecosystem. The objective of our Curator-in-Residence program is to engage media and creative communities to amplify African narratives through innovative media and storytelling. It creates space for experimentation where different insights, reflections and forms of expression are appreciated.
