Baraza Media Lab, in partnership with International Media Support (IMS), is inviting applications from Kenya,Uganda,Tanzania-based content creators and civil society/community organisations for small grants supporting locally led work to counter climate disinformation and strengthen public-interest narratives around climate and Indigenous Peoples' issues. This opportunity forms part of the Digital Democracy Initiative (DDI) programme, which seeks to strengthen the capacity of Indigenous Peoples, media and civil society organisations to counter and mitigate climate disinformation. The partnership between Baraza Media Lab and IMS includes producing content on climate disinformation, supporting awareness raising, facilitating dialogue, and working with Indigenous Peoples' communities and CSOs on related actions. The grants will support work that is locally grounded, inclusive and responsive to the realities of communities affected by climate change and climate disinformation.
